Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small records stored by your browser and sent with relevant requests. Local storage retains tool settings or player data in the current browser. It is not automatically sent with every request like cookies, although features may read and use it.

Login cookies

When account features are enabled and you sign in, mk_player_access verifies your session and has a browser lifetime of up to approximately 15 minutes. mk_player_refresh renews the session and lasts approximately 7 days; active use may renew it. Both restrict direct access by page scripts. Signing out clears these two cookies set by the site.

Tool records

Tools may use local storage for builds, characters, drafts, and settings. Account features also use a local record to notify other tabs to refresh login state. Records generally remain until you clear site data or use the relevant tool’s deletion controls.

Your controls

You can view, block, or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking login cookies may prevent account and cloud-save features from working. Deleting local storage may remove tool records that have not been backed up. Clearing browser data does not automatically delete cloud data.
